Dating from c.1870, a small French mantel clock timepiece, or large carriage clock in a walnut case. At only 4 inches in depth, this will fit most mantelpieces.
The clock has a perfect white enamel dial with Roman numerals within an outer minute track and fine blued steel hands.
The overhauled 8-day timepiece movement is stamped V.A.P. Brevete on the backplate, regulated by a cylinder escapement.
